Register and pay for your climbing on the Saturday and Sunday – i.e. two days.
I have registered and paid for two days of climbing but the weather turns bad and I don’t get to climb on the second day. Can I get a refund?
Refunds are entirely discretionary and will generally require exceptional circumstances. If you are concerned that the weather may interfere with your climbing plans, you can register one day at a time - there is mobile coverage at the designated camping area.
I want to bring one or more dependents with me to the Bay. Can I do that and do they need to be registered?
You can take one or more dependents with you but each dependent must be registered separately for each of the days that you intend to climb at Whanganui Bay. You can register a dependent using your own account by creating a new registration and inserting the relevant dependent's name. You are responsible for ensuring that your dependents comply with the access terms. Please remember: The access arrangement is for climbers - it is not a general access right. And many parts of the climbing areas at the Bay are not safe for children.
